Once, the Oil Expeller machine crushes the seeds and oil is extracted, it is recommended that this oil should be filtered before use. For 100 % filtering the Kamdhenu Filter Press can be utilized. These filter presses are very efficient and are extensively used in oil mills for filtering and cleaning of the oil drawn from the Oil Expellers. The filtering capacity varies with the viscosity of the oil and the quantity of sediments contained therein. In these filter presses, closed grained C.I. square plates are mounted adjacent to each other, on a heavy flat M.S structure. These filter presses are supplied with brass cock, collection tray etc. After, filtering through the filter cloths, the filtered oil leaves the chamber through cocks fitted to each plate and flows out, while the cloths retain all the impurities.
